1/2 Dozen Eggs

Our eggs are supplied in half dozens as part of our veg boxes and are laid by our Lohmann Brown hens, known for their rich brown shells and deep golden yolks. The hens roam freely over just under an acre of orchard and pasture, which we rotate regularly to keep both birds and land healthy. They forage on grasses, seeds, and insects, and in autumn enjoy windfall apples from the orchard. Alongside this, they are fed a high-quality organic feed supplement to ensure balanced nutrition. We are currently in our second year of organic conversion and working towards full certification in 2028.
